Dave was raised on a Midwestern farm in Morris, IL. He attended Western Illinois University and received a B.S. in Agricultural Business. He served as president of his social-professional fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho. Upon graduation in 1988 he became a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and relocated to Greenville, NC in 1994. In 1997 he attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification and is currently one of only 8 Greenville financial advisors to achieve this out of 122 total advisors. In 2002 he attained the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation and from 2007-2012 he attended the Edward Jones’ Managing Partner’s conference (top 350 gross revenue producing advisors). In September of 2012 he affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services as an independent advisor and in February 2013 became a branch manager. Dave is married to Michelle, originally from LaGrange, NC, and they have two sons, Jackson and Dylan. Dave is the past president of Ironwood Golf and Country Club and the East Carolina Estate Planning Council. He has also served on the church council for Covenant United Methodist Church and is currently the vice-chair for The Oakwood School Board of Trustees. Dave and Michelle support many local charities.
Belinda was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia and received a Bachelor of Music. She then attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and received a Master of Church Music. She has been the Minister of Music/Organist at First Baptist Church in Tarboro since 2009, and teaches piano to area students. Belinda has extensive experience in the financial services industry beginning in 2003 as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and then a Senior Client Associate at Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo Advisors. She holds the series 7, 63 & 66 securities licenses as well as her life and health insurance licenses. She is the proud mom of two rescue dogs, Misty and Blackie, and also enjoys birdwatching.
